The hahazer is a Mediterranean chef's restaurant specializing in grilled meat, casserole dishes, and fish. Heading the restaurant is Chef Moti Ohana – a graduate of the 'Cordon Bleu' School of Cookery – who has 13 years of experience in the field of gastronomy in Israel and elsewhere. Moti Ohana was previously chef at 'Chakra' in Jerusalem and later, together with Chef Pinni Levy, opened the kosher Pinni in the Courtyard' restaurant in Jerusalem.
Moti now serves his creative and contemporary cuisine, an original combination of Mediterranean cooking with Israeli input, using the finest locally sourced produce and carefully selected quality raw materials. The restaurant's atmosphere is warm and attractive, and the service courteous and attentive. And everyone enjoys dining alongside the varied and colorful range of guests!
The restaurant is located in the Old Railway Station, and has a warm modern decor with two levels, a small bar, and an open kitchen. We can hold large-scale events in the garden – for close to 300 people. Smaller events of up to 100 people can be held in the restaurant itself - a great option for bar / bat mitzvah celebrations, after visiting the Western Wall.
At lunchtime on Friday, come and welcome the Shabbat with us at the restaurant, when we serve a special menu.
